An Angelfish Live Planted Aquarium and Interior

An Angelfish Live Planted Aquarium and Interior

An early foray into a conceptual custom live planted aquarium installation, this 200 gallon room-divider was a highly successful long term layout. The aquascape was kept simple in order to greater facilitate aquatic plant growth and even make "overgrowth" manageable for years. An exceptional harmony was achieved with the interior, and the client request for the aquascape to pick up on details of the nearby landscape painting was accomplished by using the appropriate amount of green from the aquatic plants and brown from the aquarium driftwood. The muted color and inherent elegance of angelfish punctuated the scene of this interior focal point. The next image shows the aquarium and aquascape in greater detail.
